The Little Tackas’ Playgroup operates at LBC on Tuesday mornings from 9am - 11am (during school terms) for Mums and Carers with preschool aged children. It is an opportunity to come away from home and enjoy some relaxed time socially. 

Our mornings aim to be fairly flexible, with the children enjoying playing with other children and toys, different from the ones at home.  The parents enjoy a little bit of a break and the change in conversations to adult-talk rather than children-talk.  Each week consists a of free play time inside and outside, a supervised craft activity, yummy morning tea for everyone and then some fun listening to stories and singing songs before it’s time to tidy up and head for home.

Each term we schedule an outing to provide a bit of variety in our program.  For example, in the past we have visited places such as Toddler Town (an indoor play centre designed for small children) and Kelmscott High School's farm where the children were able to feed the animals.
